The XII Edition of the International Prize For Mediterranean Documentary and Reportage is organized in Cagliari by the CMCA, Mediterranean Centre for Audiovisual Communication, with its headquarters in Marseille ( France ), in accordance with the RAI, and in collaboration with the Councillor to Tourism, Crafts and Commerce of the Independent Region of Sardegna.
The Prize strengthens and renews working relations with its host territory organizing important meetings among International Audiovisual professionals and journalists:
two Master Classes (on the art of reportage, on the art of documentary);
a meeting on Italian Documentary;
a video-debate on the theme: “There is always someone more at North ,East, South, and at West. Understanding the Mediterranean migrations”;
work training for documentary and reportage, in synergy with the University of Cagliari and ASBU (Arab States Broadcasting Union);
screenings open to the public (in collaboration with RAI, the Sardinia International Ethnographic Film Festival, ENI and other prestigious partners)
With the Edition 2007 the International Prize For Mediterranean Documentary and Reportage receives an always more unique look, and renews its aim: to be an incomparable festival in its type, a position of important and precise reference for quality audiovisual in all the Euro-mediterranean area.
